Is Itachi Uchiha OVERRATED?!

does it make sense that Itachi was always a loving person? while being a spy in the Akatsuki, And helping to commit murder and terrorist attacks? at the same time protecting the piece for the hidden leaf..

he regretted turning Sasuke into a hatred person.. Even tho that was part of his plan the entire time?!

Itachi is a good character

He's definitely overrated since not many people decide to actually look at his actions beyond surface level or what was explained

Aside from the obvious ruthlessness towards sasuke and pretty much being responsible for him turning on the village and some dumb mistakes like thinking a simple amaterasu could kill obito (madara)


1- He killed the clan so that both the village and the clan won't lose manpower and be easy targets

2- so now there's only the village and no clan

3- the village was attacked by 2 villages, one of the attackers was a great nation that caused depletion in konoha's manpower
So instead of the village losing some uchihas and some konoha troops, it lost ALL THE UCHIHA and some konoha troops and NO HOKAGE, and kakashi, practically the number 1 konoha ninja at the time was hospitalised BY ITACHI and no other villages attacked

na itachis retcon kinda made him a sh*t character to me, in OG naruto he was a pyschopath but good short villian, Shippuden ruined him and somehow he has this insane fanbase

I don’t understand how ppl think he’s overrated. Ppl should understand why we all love him. If his power is overrated, then that’s one thing. However, character wise he isn’t. I’m telling u it be them One Piece fans
