I had a couple that had broken and I didn’t have the money to rebuy so I prayed to God and still have them still.

My rosaries break from time to time. It means I'm using them.

My rosary broke a few times while I was praying it for my sister who was dying. My sister had been on the broad easy path for pretty much her entire life. She wanted to come to God in her last weeks. I was helping her with that. My friend was praying for my sister with me. She had a ceramic thing where she kept rosaries. One time it fell off her bed onto the floor and broke. The floor had carpet but still it shattered into pieces that were too small to be glued back together. I believe that I knew exactly what was happening. Satan was not happy about us preying the rosary especially for my sister. He had had her in his clutches and we were working on getting her out so she would eventually be in Heaven.
He did not approve of what we were doing and was trying to stop us or if he couldn’t do that he wanted at least to inconvenience us and make it more difficult for us.

I’be broken a number of rosaries and just repaired them with my jewelry kit. It never occurred to me that there was some message attached to these breakages or that I should have them reblessed. I will be more thoughtful in the future.

You mentioned the word symbol several times, we were taught that symbols are dead and they are not connected to the Bible as a Roman Catholic the nuns taught us children of pagans have symbols on their clothing the star of their God we were taught symbols are dead not connected with the Bible in any way shape or form every word of God's word is alive not dead Protestants love this word they sent me a paragraph one time it had 12 symbol in it and everything is symbolic to them you surprised me as a Roman Catholic to use that word but I'm seeing it more on the internet the younger Catholics do not realize what that word is and what it really means, the only time the Bible nuns used it was when they were talking about the pagans I remember in 11 years they only used it twice and it was referring to the The more you repeat that word the more it will come out of you.. and Christ is
