Toji Fushiguro (伏ふし黒ぐろ甚とう爾じ Fushiguro Tōji?), born Toji Zenin (禪ぜん院いん甚とう爾じ Zen'in Tōji?) is a recurring character in the Jujutsu Kaisen series. He was a former member of the Zenin family and the infamous assassin known as the Sorcerer Killer (術じゅつ師し殺ごろし Jutsushi Goroshi?), contracted by the Time Vessel Association among other groups throughout his time as a non-curse user. He was also the father of Megumi Fushiguro and former enemy of Satoru Gojo. While working for the Star Religious Group, Toji serves as the primary antagonist of the Gojo's Past Arc.

Toji is a tall muscular man with mid-length straight black hair that reaches to his ears. He has green eyes like his son, thin black eyebrows and a sharp scar over the right side of his mouth just on the edge of his lips.

For casual attire, Toji wears a simple outfit consisting of a long sleeved shirt and matching pants with sandals. While fighting, Toji wears a tight fitting short sleeve shirt and sports tan baggy training pants with a black belt weaved through the waist, as well as black martial arts slippers. While still a member of the Zenin family, Toji wore a dark colored haori over a black yukata.

Toji is a cold, calm, confident type of man who likes to enjoy himself and make money using his skills. He appears to enjoy insightful conversation with others as long as it somehow pertains to himself[3] and can trade witty banter with the highly sarcastic likes of Satoru Gojo. Upon meeting, Satoru asked Toji if they had met before but Toji assured him that he's not the type to remember some guy either. In battle, Toji has a crazed expression as if he's lost in the thrill of the fight, but he's always maintaining a cool and calculated head and plotting his next move.

Toji is an assassin who's garnered the name "Sorcerer Killer" and spends his time gambling between assignments from shady clients. He married a woman and left her just as quickly, leaving his newborn child behind without knowing their gender and eventually forgot their name. Toji even planned on selling Megumi to the Zenin family he had left behind, exploiting the young Megumi for the cursed technique he would eventually inherit.

Toji doesn't question his clients motives as long as the money is right and generally doesn't do any extra work for free. He's bold and dangerously calculated in his strategies, using his jujutsu knowledge to outwit even the most prophesized sorcerers. This garnered him a reputation large enough to gain attention from the wealthy Time Vessel Association for such an important job that could ensure their future. While he thought the religious members of the organization were crazy, he got along well enough with their middle man to invite him to eat.

Toji was able to complete his final mission for the Time Vessel Association and should have cut and run when faced with a rejuvenated Satoru Gojo. However, due to his disdain for the jujutsu world and the sorcerer families, Toji chose to try and cut down the most gifted sorcerer in the world as another way to spite them all. Unfortunately, this pride cost Toji his life. Unable to look past his demons, he deviated from his natural instincts and ignored the uneasiness plaguing him during the fight.[14]

Toji defeated a six eyes user and killed the star plasma vessel.
This is something Kenjaku previously attempted twice and failed. In his second attempt he killed both the star plasma vessel and the six eyes user a month after they were born but still couldn’t stop the merging.
The fact that Toji succeed in stopping the merging and defeating a six eyes user better than Kenjaku could is a crazy feat for Toji.
Toji is one of the main reasons Kenjaku’s plans are able to go this far.

-fights the same respawned crack addict and gets overpowered
-stands even with a huge chunk of his left torso gone
-Tells the crack addict to take care of his son and fucking died standing
-started the balance overthrow of Jujutsu society
-comes back once more after being revived with a seance technique
-beats up an old lady to death
-beats up a buff squid and turned it into Calamari and Takoyaki
-stabs his son in the stomach
-stabs himself in the head after finding out that his son was living a normal life and not royalty

Bruh Toji is the man who pulls up to a fight with a special grade curse, with no Cursed Energy, and is still not the under dog. This mam started from the bottom and up to his death, he made it a problem for everyone else. Heck this man is such a demon that he got immediately back to working a special grade curse. Also the very idea that the zenin clan only survived just because Toji didn't clap all of them is a scary thought. Textbook definition of a Black Air Force with a freaking dagger and zero f***s to give

Toji was too powerful to be kept alive for both the story and the fandom but even in death, he still has a huge impact on both lol man been dead for a decade and the mere thought of him still scares people like he the Boogeyman 🤣

This is such a great analysis of Toji’s power. I used to think he was high tier but still would get destroyed by top tier characters. But with this video I definitely think he is a top tier character in terms of power.

I think some people are actually underestimating Toji, he beat both Gojo and Geto who where both considered the strongest sorcerers even back then. He only lost when Gojo unlocked the full potential of his six eyes which makes him borderline invincible. He's easily top 5

It's good that JJK didn't end up being the type of anime like "if you are strong, you solo" even if your the strongest among your opponent they still can outplay you no matter what just like what happened in the Mahito vs Yuji, and Geto trapping the strongest being (Gojo) in the current day.

Toji is a such beast, he able to beat anyone with no curse energy and he relies just to his instincts. Sadly, the time he didnt trust his instincts, it lead to his death

The most dangerous thing about Toji is his mind sure someone as fast and strong as he is whilst being armed with ALL OF THE WEAPONS is a very serious threat to 99.9% of all sorcerer’s and curses but his mind specifically his ability to carefully plan out and counter abilities on the spot and in advance is what really pushes him into that .1% of the power hierarchy

Toji+prep time could conceivably be a threat to even the very strongest in the verse

Megumi has more talent than Naoya.Megumi took hit from Sakuna and still stood .I have noticed incredible physical ability from Megumi but it has not been addressed in story like Yuji.Also the fact the total amount of curse energy that Megumi posses is unknown but we know domain expansion requires immense amount of curse energy .And Toji went after whoever is strongest so after Dagon defeat, Megumi was stronger than Maki, Nanami and Naobito .Which is amazing since Megumi was in a tug of war with Dagon domain so a lot of curse energy must have depleted.

Kenjaku has planned to kill six eyes user for so many times centuries ago and even try to stop the merger of tengen and star plasma but failed but damn this guy did it in three days.
