Aside from Doug, I loved how they recaptured the running Godzilla scene from the original Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla movie. I especially love how Godzilla flings his arms in anticipation to rip MG limb from limb.

I love Godzilla's character progression. In the first Monsterverse movie, he is this extremely slow-moving, massive hulking titan that would take forever to charge his breath up (which was just a really wimpy stream of blue fire with short range). Now he's even bigger but can run his 200 million pound ass at about 400 miles per hour, crawl on all fours like a savage gator, and his breath can now blast a hole several miles deep into the Earth. I wonder how much stronger he'll get
