Teacher Rinpoche, I normally try to overcome irritating people by adjusting myself. Someone in my life has negative energy & I embraced the irritation this time, I said come have a seat and sit for a while. Did some breathing etc & it worked for me❤❤❤ Your suggestion helped me🙏

Every. Single. Time.
I learn so much from you every single time.
Of course I abhor racism, war, greed that causes division. But his humility in relating these principles to oneself is so valuable.
Thank you 🙏🏽 I will try my very best to apply this thinking in my every day life.

The story of the person who yelled at you, and the compassion you had for them, makes me think of a lesson from Shi Heng Yi. While preparing a pot of tea, he explained that understanding the process of growing, harvesting, distributing, and brewing individual pots and pouring individual cups of tea can also help with understanding individual people and not judging them so quickly. You don’t know what kind of day a person had, what problems they carry inside themself, or what they were taught in their upbringing. Understanding this can help you become more compassionate. You still may not agree with a person, something they did may have still been wrong, but you can at least better understand why they are the way that they are.

As I see it, the important part is to not make an identity out of the superficial differences of humans.

If you have a group of humans, then some will prefer to use their right hand most of the time and some their left hand. And there is no problem. But if we make identities out of that preference and say "Over here are the right-handers, and on this side are the left-handers". Then because of these false identities, conflict can break out because of these mind-made groups (that dont really exist). In the same way, "The Russians vs the Ucranians" is also illusion, based on identification with place of birth. And the caste-system is also only in the mind. Its illusion. It is true that some members of society have the job of priest, or warrior, or merchant etc. But the caste-system seems to be based on believing that you are your job. -Obviously not true. You do the job, you cannot be it.

Thank you Rinpoche for sharing this story and these thoughts 😊🙏 Something like racism can seem very overwhelming, but when it’s distilled down to the personal level and to discreet events, it begins to seem possible to change for the better, one person at a time ❤️

Hi I had a dream two nights in a row.
First night a long string of white paper hearts.
This am I m walking through it park. A little girl about 5 kind of chubby wearing a flat ffy white communion dress runs by me. A large white kite with a large white heart attached to the top floats by close enough for me to touch. It has a long tail with medium sized white hearts on it. The strings and draped stringsof white hearts. And mama Cass was singing words of love won't win a girl heart any more OH NO. Then two scenes from an old tv program about three sister witches.
Phoebe met Drowsy CUPID. Then Phoebe met and fell in love with Cole. Cole was the head devil of the dark side.
Jesus told me I would get married again. I said what will the sign be.
He said a rain storm..
It's been cloudy and periodic drizzle here.
Right now I don't know man

"...I don't feel like I'm isolated or outside the group. Someone may look down on me but I don't feel that much. When I do not feel it, they do not feel that either. ..We become friends. I connect with them on the level of basic goodness." May we understand the underlying reason why people are eating cats and dogs and stay free from racisms. 😃

This is a good place. I did bed time meditation. I was listening to Rudrakastam by A gram. I was thinking about doing karate to it while I practiced.
I thought I might do it with a knife. Lord Akennaton does not like that. He was angry and said I could karate them but do not cut them. I heard I am protected. Do not cut them.
I apologized I didn't know that. Can I give the ancestors liquor tobacco and coffee when I ask for help.. Yes but do not cut them. I apologized again. Lord Akennaton is a giant giant. I m as tall as his lips.
