Love this grinder. It got me through lock-down. Had it 4 years and it hasn't missed a beat. Great for medium/dark roast espresso. Not quite as good for V60 filter coffee with lighter roasts, but still does the job.

i work the overnight shift and live in an apartment. this thing is quiet enough to use at any time. and it is a low sound-not screeching. there are a lot of grinders now that are as good& better but not as silent. I ❤ mine. It looks and works like day one 2.5 years later.

I agree this is an awesome grinder- had one for three years and used every day. However, saying it has zero retention is false: there is actually a fair bit of retention and I think Niche should include a simple silicon coffee bellows. I ordered from Amazon and they’re made specifically to fit the Niche Zero. Best upgrade for this grinder.

This grinder makes getting good shots for beginners consistent which leads to much less stress. Makes espresso more enjoyable. I’d rather have this grinder and a 1500 machine than a 6000 machine and a crappy grinder. I love my Niche.
