What’s that stone (really)? ⤵️

One day of the 1200s, S. Domenico (founder of the Dominican order) was praying in the church of Santa Sabina in Rome. The devil in person, after many attempts to distract him from his prayers, took a stone and threw it to San Dominic.

Somehow the devil didn’t aim properly and the stone fell somewhere else.

The stone of this legend is an ancient Roman weight of black basalt and you can find it at the entrance of the church of Santa Sabina in Rome.
