When using the hose I end up with a puddle of water where the main machine was while using the hose is this normal. Brand new machine.

reading all the comments about using the hose to clean my sofas does this really mean that I have to somehow lift the cleaner higher than the back of my sofa to use the hose?

The hose does not release water when it is above the tank, but even when it is lower then the tank it is really bad release of water. I’ve followed all instructions and even went on the support page but nothing!!!

My hose has a tiny drip coming out of the end and that only happens if the machine is at the same level. If I try and leave the machine at the bottom of the stairs (like it shows on the advert !) Nothing happens

I would have thought VAX would do something about this by now. Bought mine today and I’m having the same problem. Nothing in the manual. Even a paper sticker on the box

HOW DO I REMOVE THE HOSE. SOLUTION PORT IS STUCK AND WON'T COME OUT. SEND HELP

Just spoke to customer service. Just pull. It will be stiff for the first few times. It’s off now

Ditto - seems like a design flaw if this is a common complaint
No way will this damned hose come out!
Tried what I think HeavenOnEarth2108
suggested "push down on tube and push down and pull up the silver bit", but won't budge
Not even a sign of give from it, nor is there evidence of a pressure-release lug - just the invitation for more brute strength (which will no-doubt break it)
Please post a solution if anyone has a fail-safe method

it's too loud and suction is not good. it can't remove dirt probably.
