Love the fact I always learn something from your Channel as well as being thoroughly entertained! I had no idea about this ghost railway. But I knew the word "Cremaillère". It's on the wall of a disused hotel near the railway station of Lezignan -Corbieres, ten miles from where I have a little village house! Now I know what it means! Was holding my breath for Elton, interestingly referred to as "she" by your good selves, well why not a bit of mix and match?! I'll be back down to Nice in the winter and I will buy a coffee if you're about!

Just as the tension was mounting with tale of the dark and spooky morning ... The ads kicked in!!! The wait for them to end to hear what happened was endless ...

Then more anxious moments as Elton took to the hills ... Phew! He/She (Sounds like a sushi dish ) made it. Thanks for a great episode in Elton's life.

Well done on the Dramatic suspense scene! For a moment it looked as if Mr. Boo feared you three might end up as the second ghost story of LaTurbbie. If you'd been in one of those cheap Chinese micro EV's you might have well ended up as the next chapter in the legend or crash guests in someone's living room. Quite a testament to the engineering of the Aim.

Seeing the old post cards and the modern picturesque vistas, I couldn't help but picture a modern 'Me and Mon Ami' postcard or greeting card, and how much fun something like 'Me and Mon Ami' quadacycle rentals might be, to explore and retrace your favorite treks.

Thanks as always, very grateful being able to come along on your adventures, you really do bring the the Riviera the the past to life.

Another very Good Episode. I didn't know about the Last Train. I would not have driven a Mini up the road never mind an Ami. I honest;y thought it was too steep. It was a good surprise to see it making it. Well Done Guys.

Thank you SO MUCH for this particular test guys. The reason why we are so glad seeing this test of the Ami on such a steep road is that in 2016 we took on an electric motorcycle the also quite steep road to Montsegur ( not far from where we live) Halfway our electric motor overheated so we turned and made it back home, but with a lot of noise coming somewhere out of the electric motor (it was the controller we found out later). Well it got repaired and was sait to be improved but it took us till 2021 to try that very same road once more. This time we got to the highest point of the road (pass, col de Montsegur) where all the busses filled with tourists stop and the path to the castle of Montsegur begins, but something smelled burned. We let it cool but when we tried later on to go on the motor back home it didn't react anymore, it was burned. Now we have that Citroen Ami since March and of course the question raised:" When we should want to, could it make the trip to Montsegur?" After seeing your video we are sure it has to be possible for the road you took was MUCH STEEPER !!! Congrats !! Thanks!!
