There’s actually a fun fact behind the loading screen. Microsoft made a sorta big mistake in msfs 2020. In the menu, you can see the earth. That “earth” is a fully rendered, second planet apart from the actual sim. What I’m trying to say is that the earth that you fly in was a different planet than the one in the menu, and they were both fully modeled and rendered planets. Microsoft greatly reduced loading times and increased performance by making the menu and sim the same planet. So to summarize that mouth full, the sim had two fully rendered and loaded earths, but now they only have one, and when you spawn in, your plane just loads in and the camera just zooms in
