Which Motorcycle is Best for You According To Star Wars

It's one of the most common questions we've been receiving; "What the difference between all the bike types? And which bike is right for me?" Or, "Help me decide which bike is right for me."

We decided to have some fun with this question and thought we'd compare the major motorcycle types with space ships from popular science fiction movies and television shows.

The scooter would be the escape pod. You can't fight anything, you'll be scared from the moment you get on until you get off. Only use in case of emergencies...

You forgot about vintage ;)
1)Are are you mechanicly inclined
2)Are you willing to take the chance that your bike won't run tomorrow even though it ran amazing today?
3) How much time do you want to spend wrenching vs riding?

I never knew I owned a Millenium Falcon. I'm happy with that.

The fact that you called my XSR700 an X-Wing (my favorite bike AND my favorite spacecraft) just made my entire SEASON!!

This video rocked!!

I enjoyed this video! Thank you! Personally I ride a KTM 1290 Super Adventure S. For an old guy like me it checks every box on the list!

The problem is that there is no compromise bike. The singular unicorn motorcycles simply DOES NOT EXIST. After realising this it's easy. Just get what you feel like will make you happiest and go from there

Great video! I happen to own the world's greatest UJM, the Honda CB750 Nighthawk from 1993. Fast, reliable, next to no maintenance and could jump on it tomorrow and drive it across the country. I love the middle weights for lower weight, great power, and sport touring ended up being my cup of tea. If I buy new, it would be the Yamaha FJ09 with bags...fill the tank and hit the horizon!

Just found this from back in the day. Fabulous comparisons between the bike types and sci fi . Well done super video Dave. Well done, ride safe and ride well.🤓

Great video. I was ready to look down my nose at what would surely be 9 minutes of inaccuracies from someone who obviously couldn’t know what they are talking about, but I ended up getting out geeked, especially when you took a few trips into the video game world. The only thing I could find to be the least bit petty about was calling the Harley Street model a cruiser. Lol. Thanks for this.

Loved this cross-over, thanks for this fun vid!. Dual-Sport FTW IMO, though I admit to having a soft spot for the maxi scooters like the 650 Burgman, T-Maxes and Silverwing's. That low center of gravity and ability to store a mountain of stuff is convenient as heck for a commuter.

The one you feel comfortable on. Period. Yes, you have to try them for that. That is part of the fun. ^^

From Taiwan and the scooter description is perfection. A buddy's 125CC Suzuki GSR 125 can hold 14 costco rotisserie chickens under the seat bucket (no cramping or squeezing !) and that thing can hold 6 more 1.6L cans of campbell soup on its legrest area which is flat... and carry one pillion easy .

Love everything you guys produce. Entertaining and informative always. Stumbled upon this one soon after it was released.

I’m not a sci-fi fan and I enjoyed this. I want to show my family this rather than trying to explain it myself. Great video!

Have been pretty set on in a Ducati Monster but not totally convinced. Now I am; I always wanted a Firefly of my own!!

Seriously though, great and simple breakdown of styles even if the comparisons are more fun than useful. You guys are always a great resource for riders of all stripes. Thanks!
