When it comes to a character's perspective, nearly every FNAF fan creation will be from the perspective from a security guard, urban explorer, or runaway child. We always see his or her reaction on the first night, but I wondered what would it be like from an animatronic's perspective? What would a "first night" alive for them look and feel like?

First Night As Freddy - Official Soundtrack

Nine years ago, while I was in my first year of digital design at university, the cult-phenomenon video game Five Nights at Freddy's was created.

I remember sitting and playing it with my peers in our class' game room. Lights completely off, the communal couch dragged unnecessarily close to the screen, and pillows at the ready to hide our faces at the jump scares.

It was new. It was different. It was terrifying. And riding off of each others' fears was the best way to be inducted into the world of FNAF.

I've always loved the dark and inherently spooky tones of the game. New sequels and iterations that have come out in the past few years have definitely leaned into a more cartoon-like and science fiction aesthetic.

Each to their own - this style wasn't exactly my favourite direction for the franchise to have taken.

Certain fans were able to capture that uncanny horror that we see in the original. Battington and Phsinom's work on their respective FNAF tapes spring to mind.

Another is "Jr's", developed by Ramenov, which has in my opinion the best aesthetics to any fan game, assisted by Darroc's utterly terrifying vintage animatronic models.

You can only imagine how thrilled I was to be able to get my hands on these stylized models, recreated by the talented DJ_DiscoHead. Inspiration started to quickly swirl, and with that I decided to knock out a little project over the next few days.

Not sure where I'll go with this. Now I've spent the hard yards setting up the scene it's a pretty straight forward approach now to just animate the models and come up with some cool scenarios.

The way that Fredbear actually moves like a possessed robot relearning how to move is amazing

The way he starts yelling "Help me!" is bone-chilling. Especially without the animatronic being on screen at the time, it really hits home that it's a scared child calling out for help.

If i were to guess, after the bite, The Crying Child (Gregory, Evan, Chris, etc.) is now possessing Fredbear and is scared and confused at what's happening. The person at the end hiding from Fredbear I think would either be Michael Afton or some random guy.

I am a fnaf fan since 2014 and this must be one of the coolest animations I've ever seen!
You always get to see the fear from the nightguard's or a different person's perspective, you rarely see the emotions the souls must have.
my stomach turns seeing it from the perspective of the poor little soul, realizing they are Fredbear now!

EVERY AWESOME DETAIL:
0:09 | you can see the yellow thingy they use for crime scenes near the stage, indicating that this is the aftermath of the bite.
0:11 | the blood on fredbear's face is also from the previously mentioned bite.
0:18 | the curious looks on fredbear's face really adds to the detail of a dead child's soul being in this animatronic.
0:24 | the fact that they made specially customized plate models with fredbear and springbonnie on them really shows how long this film prolly took.
0:30 | this again circles back around to the confused child details with fredbear. its also confirmed that the soul possessing fredbear is Evan in this scene because they are startled to see springbonnie next to them.
0:54 | the fact you can actually hear the sounds from the kitchen in this scene is also a nice detail.

I love the detail of whoever it's possessing the suit is genuinely terrified and confused as to what's going on and the first instinct a child has when they're confused or scared is to ask someone to help them

Damn this is awesome! Loved how fredbear is scared of springbonnie because it is actually CC soul controlling the animatronic, good job man

I love the visual story telling. The way the camera moves shows that Fredbear has a dizzy awareness to him and is unsure. Also, this goes along with the lore minor details so well, Fredbear ate the child, so the animatronics lower jaw is broken, and his wrists are kind of unhinged because of the struggle that most likely occurred. Fabulous work

I love how the hands flop around at first as the joints they use in an animatronic are different than an actual wrist. Amazing attention to detail.
