As someone in that "I'm approaching 40 but can't believe it" age range, I can safely say that Neil has perfectly captured the contents of the aging Millennial brain with these songs. They're weird, horrifying amalgamations of various half-remembered moments of our youth that somehow lurch their way out of the dark to become almost transcendent. They hover ominously somewhere between the disturbing and the sublime, and I dig that. Well done, my dude.
