Before helping my young brother do his homework, He’d already finished them. It was a surprise for me. 😃
We knew that she’d been working that company for a long time.
When I got home, my mother had already cooked the dinner. 🤓
Thank you Jennifer! 😌

Yes, verb forms that don't exist in one's native language are hard to grasp at first. Then again, it's interesting to master because it makes you perceive states or actions from a different perspective. :)
Regards!

Thank you for being patient. I've had many projects to work on, and I've had to slow down on making my videos. I certainly have ideas for new lessons. I hope to find more time as these other projects wind down. :)

In everyday spoken English, it's fairly common to use the progressive form of HOPE. We do this to express a desire for a future action/ event, one we greatly desire, one that would be significant. See more examples under HOPE in the Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English online.

The trick is to release air and sound into the /b/ in "brand" and then let the /d/ flow into the "a" in "awareness. Some other teachers may have focused on this. It's called linking. See EnglishwithStacy, PronunciationMeg, and RachelsEnglish. Thank you for visiting my channel!

This is pretty close to my natural speed. I linked another channel of mine with product reviews for parents. In those videos you can hear me speak at top speed. :)
Even in everyday conversation, I might choose to speak more carefully. It all depends on what the subject is and who I'm speaking with.

Hello! It's good to expose your ears to different accents. You can follow some of the other teachers here on YT from outside the U.S. Also, look for TV/ radio with British English. Once you choose your resources, develop a study plan. I have Study Tips on my website to give you ideas. Regards!
