When are you going to use the Pythagorean Theorem in Physics? Turns out A LOT! Geometry is used a lot in Physics and this video will help guide you through understanding how to apply the Pythagorean Theorem in your physics class!

In this trigonometry physics video, I will show you have to apply the Pythagorean Theorem to right-triangles that you may encounter in Physics by using this formula:

a2 + b2 = c2

Here is the breakdown of when to how to use the Pythagorean Theorem in Physics:

0:00 Introduction
0:16 What is the Pythagorean Theorem?
0:48 How to solve for the hypotenuse
2:06 How to solve for angles inside a right triangle
2:18 Conclusion

I found your Guide to Physics so helpful, especially with understanding how to add vectors and working with projectile motion. The visuals are very helpful and i like that key concepts are highlighted in the text as you read. Very straightforward and not overburdened like many textbooks are. It was easy to understand. I'm sure this is a minor item since it is still in the works, but i did notice that the green 'Answers' button for practice problems isn't functioning (no link to answers/does not reveal answers). Just wanted to share some feedback. You guys are providing such a great service. 👏
