There is a theory about finding Nemo that is kind of dark And disturbing. during the scene in the whale's mouth, Dory tells Marlin that it's time to let go and if you watch closely throughout the film, Marlin is faced with many situations where he has to learn to let go. So what does this mean well? The theory states that Nemo isn't real because Nemo never really existed. Marlin made him up to cope with his tribe after the barracuda attack. And if you look at the word Nemo in Latin, it translates to nobody, which means that the real title should have been finding nobody.
