Canada here. I had a Chinese girl that worked here at my hotel and she also thought that everyone held a high opinion of the Chinese. She was incredibly surprised to learn that the Chinese are considered untrustworthy and not wanted in the countries of others. She had NO IDEA what China had done to Canada even though she came to live and work here.

When an American visits Pakistan, the locals understand they're visiting for pleasure, spending their USD on holiday. The Chinese on the other hand, they're not in Pakistan on vacation. I remembered I travelled from Hong Kong to Sydney in February 2024, every passenger were allowed to checked in luggage at 2:30pm, , IF they had done their self-helped electronic checked-in, with a printed air-tick from the machine at the first place; Otherwise had to start 3:30pm;. 4 Mainland Chinese passengers queued up behind me, I spotted them that they did not processed self-helped electronic checked-in, I reminded them in Mandarin they MUST process that self-helped electronic checked-in before checked in luggage, that guy replied "I don't have to!, I have THIS!", waving his Chinese Passport. I was just laughingly replied "Good Luck!" and went off to my own luggage matter.
