People have been complaining that the RHO doesn't have enough power compared to Ram's previous high performance off-road truck, the TRX, but today I'll explain why it's better than you think. I'm reviewing this Ram RHO and I'll show you the many quirks and features. I'm also going to get behind the wheel and show you what it's like to drive.

Ram not learning from Ford's mistake. Went from 6.2L Supercharged to 3.5L twin turbo and their sales on the raptor dropped 80% the first year. They eventually started doing better, but never came close to selling as many as the 6.2L engine. Brought back the V8 Supercharged and sold more in the first 4 months at a RIDICULOUS price than they did the whole 1st year of the 3.5l

Debuting the less powerful version of the new truck allows them to debut the more powerful version in two years for an additional $40k.

It’s the Porsche model. RAM has apparently decided they want to start making money.

Another important thing to realize is this is not a V6. It’s an in-line six, most of the complaints of the new raptor is that it’s a V6

I’ll never understand how two cylinders make such a crazy impact to that exhaust note. The difference from 4-6 is negligible but 6-8 is outrageous.

Im sure the 7 people in the market of 700 horsepower $100k pickups are clutching their pearls right now. Nice to see Stellantis make a decent business decision to compete with the base raptor instead of the R.
Also, I completely agree that Rhino is a huge missed opportunity, especially considering it's competition. They easily couldve done something similar to the Hummer EV with its easter eggs poking fun of other trucks
