Well, I have a MotoActv, and let me tell you that after rooting it, I have a full functional GPS (Sygic), a complete web explorer (actually many, such as firefox, ninesky, maxthon, dolphin mini) full android games like angry birds, ninja fruit, super nintendo emulators, etc, youtube, netflix, music players, video players, dropbox, and a lot of android apps.
I doubt you can do that with an Ipod nano...Still it depends on what you are looking for.
Rooting takes 5 minutes and it's kind of awesome!

Well it is your opinion and surely you have the right to support it, but I think you are comparing two completly different devices with two different purposes, mind me saying so.

The iPod nano can be used to go out for a jog and carry your music arround, even you can add the Nike+ pod to your shoes and track some performance info of your run, but that's when it ends.

The MotoActv is not only an MP3 player like the nano. The MotoActv is targered at a runners, which need more than the nano has.

Hi, I used to have NANO but 2 pieces were damaged while running because of sweat. APPLE distributors in my country [ISRAEL] refuse to replace the damaged NANO's, and this is very nasty from their side. I hope the bew product will give the right protection against sweat effects. by the way did any one faced the same problem with his NANO? 2 NANO's in 6 months!!

Yeah it's more a garmin watch competitor than nano! Plus music and Android. It's the best of both leading products. The sad part are the reaaally expensive separate accessories.

@s1gnas I have use it for 2 straight hours and it took a little bit less that 30%. I was using half of the screen brightness and no Bluetooth or wifi

Nano, don't have bluetooth, for my this is enought to win... try to race or jumple with the audio cables...
