Cannot say this trailer says a lot about movie and motivates to watch it, like as soon as you see it.

Does we actually get to see her land on mars? Or the movie ends where the trailers ends

This HUGEST PROBLEM is calling a film about Astronauts going to MARS called Proxima WHICH Proxima b IS LITERALLY THE NAME OF THE CLOSEST EXO SOLAR PLANET TO EARTH. Makes me THINK they are GOING THERE it'd be like a Earthly travel Movie but calling it "A Trip South of Korea" about a group of Americans going to Australia by plane from Alaska and never going to Korea or mentioning Korea.

And don't give it's French meaning close or closest FUN FACT Venus is a closer planetary body to Earth unless you're counting Our Moon as a duel planet system Since our Moon meets a few of the Minor Planet subsets. And if you go by averages then it's Mercury too. So Mars at ANY rate is 3 to 4 depending on how you look at our Moon, if you consider it a Minor Mars being anyway 'near us' as it attunes to the notion of Proxima is poppycock. AGAIN HORRID NAME FOR THE MOVIE ABOUT GOING TO MARS!!
