Lmao hell no you gave them something and now It’s hard to take it back. Management doesn’t even want to go back. Including gas and the horrific traffic and its additional cost of living don’t help this case either

I dont think its needed. Working together can be done on teams, this will hurt productivity. Its not worth all the money spent to get to a office. I think someone got jealous and is trying to ruin it.

I don’t blame workers for not wanting to return to work. In most cities the downtowns have become crime infested and full of methed up zombies.🧟‍♀️. I wouldn’t want to return to that crap either.

You forgot to differentiate, these are government employees whose salaries are funded by the Canadian tax payer.

They should all return to work. It happens too often that you hear family on goings in the background. Not everyone can access things on line.

It's not a perk anymore, it's a way of life now. Been more productive is an excuse, the entire world was productive at home, was convenient during the pandemic and worked.

I work harder at home and I can’t take better care of myself. I’m not a burden causing traffic and I save money not having the eat out all the time. I would quit the job before going back to work

Now how is that fair for those that have always had to go to work, even during the pandemic? Aren’t work places all about equality?

agreed, keep them home. Someone somewhere thinks that going back to a boring office is "more productive", it's not and studies have proved this. No One wants to go back to a dreary office, it's toxic. 1:40 - this guy right here - wrong wrong wrong - no buddy, no one wants to go back. If you want to go back, then go back. Don't drag everyone else down with you. NO ONE ENJOYS IT!

The employees that want to stay home should be able to work from home with a 20% wage cut because they don't need to spend time and money to commute. The ones that are willing to come back into the office gets to keep full pay.

It's an insult to everyone who worked on the front line. They should have already been back at work. No sympathy, they are lazy and entitled.

It’s about time. While great for personal productivity, remote work kills collective productivity. Federal public servants employment has grown significantly since the start of the pandemic to compensate. Our tax dollars end paying for that lack of productivity and efficiency.

I dont wifi at home so i have no other choice to but work in the office lol, maybe im just an anomaly but it feels weirdly nice, and im an extreme introvert and homegirl lol

I think I would rather have someone getting paid with our tax dollars be in the office 5 days a week knowing that they are putting in their best effort rather than slouching off and being effected by all the distractions at home, not to mention they all get pensions anyway and can enjoy their time at home when their done with being a PUBLIC SERVANT
