Here's for ppl trying to figure out what's going on:
1. This game is called "Little Misfortune" (A word play on Ms. Fortune)


2. The game follows a young girl (Ms.Fortune) who is trying to find 'happiness' to give to her mother. From the start of the game, you're introduced to her obviously abusive family. But despite that + the other messed up things she encountered during her journey, this little girl is always positive in every way possible. She's the definition of innocence (pitted against reality)



*(Spoiler alert, this is where it gets interesting)*
3. The man/voice is the one who promised her 'happiness'. At first he thought she couldn't hear him, but actually she could. He proposed her a game, in which if she plays along and won, he will reward her with happiness.



NOW, later in the game you learn that the voice is an actual being, a demon. His name is Morgo, and he feeds off killing little children. He does this by luring in children into games and false kindness. At this point he doesn't have a physical form, but later Ms.Fortune would travel between different dimensions, where Morgo actually have a physical form. (and ofc battle ensues :"D)


5. This game takes place in the same world as the game 'Fran Bow' did. It's another horror like game that has such interesting but kinda messed up stories. It's still well done though.

6. I won't get to deep, but if you know the ending of 'Little Misfortune', you'd understand what 'happiness' Morgo is talking about.
