Plane passengers, flight attendant carried out by stretcher after spending hours on hot plane

The deadly heat dome hitting parts of the U.S. created chaos at Harry Reid International airport in Las Vegas after several passengers and a flight attendant exited a Delta flight by stretcher after being stuck in triple digit temperatures for hours. NBC News’ Erin McLaughlin has more details.

It's illegal to leave a kid or your animal in your car because of overheating. It should he the same for these flight companies! I cant believe this even happened, how did no one see how inhumane it was to leave these people sitting there for hours? Just absolutely wrong.

There are laws that punish you if you do this ti your pet in a car, but airlines do this to people all the time

Totally unbelievable!! You have children and elderly on this flight... even some flight attendants got ill..what if someone died from heat exhaustion on this flight or several people...cant believe they didnt let them off...

That happened to me and my two month old baby In Atlanta. We both got very sick. Why couldn’t they take us back to the gate instead of making us suffer in the heat? That’s criminal and inhumane!!

Will never happen in Japan air. Organized, punctual, top customer service, best economy seat, amazing inflight meal, etc.

Delta does not allow Flight attendants to unionize. They take full advantage of that and work their FAs to the brink of insanity. Eventually, it breaks you. So many are quitting.

I'm not surprised. Delta isn't the only airline that has done this before.

They need to install cooling mechanisms inside the planes like they have on the planes in the Middle East. Both Emirates and Qatar Airways for example, have a mist system installed.
