I am tbi survivor of about 24 years! Despite the many years I've had to learn to live with this condition, I still deal with issues from it on a daily basis! I was 16 when my injury occurred and have had to either learn new ways to do things I love or just had to give them up entirely(playing music and doing gymnastics!). I can understand how this would be so beneficial for anyone who has had similar injuries! Keep up the good work!

Only Musk and his group even seem to be trying to cure this basic of conditions.

This is wonderful news. I wish I could get in touch with Neuralink. There is a high chance that this technology will restore my ability to walk. I am a paraplegic in South Africa and after some rehab I am able to walk short distances on my own without any assistance or walking aids. I can already walk a little on my own but not fast or far. This could be the thing that helps me make a complete recovery and I would love to participate in the trials

This is definitely a step forward. I would like to thank everyone's involvement in this project, I Believe in my heart that you all are miracle makers. Especially Elon Musk. I was involved in 2 major accidents in my life.That put me in a wheelchair twice.And I had to learn to walk all over again, after many, many surgeries. What I don't ever see mentioned is the perfect timing of this tool. Imagine how many boomers we have in the world that are going to be experiencing mental defects because of aging. All on set within the next decade. Neuralink is coming at the perfect time to ameliorate some, if not all, of that harm.
