Gentleman hours (daylight River sessions)

A tough day on the water that definitely did not go to plan. But we made it work and caught some fish despite the boat traffic.

I can tell you exactly how that much braid disappears. Fishing with my brother in a bit of swell, he gets on a fish and there’s a bit of chaos with me reeling in my line, netting his fish and then needing to get on the leccy while he gets his fish in the well. I turn back after stopping the boat washing onto rocks and my entire spool of line is just gone. I assume I either inadvertently left my bail arm open or knocked it open when putting my rod down.

Definitely didn’t mean it, but it can happen.
