😕 this is nothing like the plot of Daphne Du Maurier's "Rebecca". that book is a work of art, its truly a masterpiece of Du Maurier's. The book follows the story of a young girl who marries a man who used to be married to a woman named Rebecca. This film looks so separate from that that it's almost insulting to call itself by the book's name. lol ill prolly still see it tho i love me some drama.

So odd, yet take it from me, this guy is a mere mortal, not a Vampire as he thinks he is. I know these two other guys like this, and one guy kept bothering his girlfriend about this and palm lines etcetera.

Well, being a fan of these types of stories & movies & how inheritance works in that time. What a fool, fool, fool...And since he didn't like books or the city & did nothing to earn it, he's an idiot, sadly an idiot. He walked right into the spiders Web & with the help of herbs along the way....the black widow got her way. Loved the movie & naturally Du Maurier is one of my favorites....as a writer she really goes to the dark side...Great acting on Rachel's part.
