In Canada a NON partisan board decides the boundaries of the ridings (districts).

Hopefully the introduction of an independent redistricting commission passes. However, it's too bad this can't be done to correct gerrymandering for the 2024 election. If it's a ballot measure, not a constitutional amendment, will the current Ohio GOP-run government be able to block it even if it passes?
