Android 5 Lollipop wifi bug fix. It seems Google have messed up with the final Android 5 Lollipop build - it can't see higher than 11 channels on your 54g wifi.

So after much fiddling here is a Android 5 Lollipop wifi bug fix video showing how to get Android 5 Lollipop working with your wifi router.

Thank you so very much! I recently updated my Moto G to Android L, and  was facing this Wifi Network issue since then!

My Home wifi Network  was not showing  on the phone.I I tried everything, Cleared whole phone cache, Factory Reset, Updated All My Apps. I  read all the articles regarding wifi issues, but nothing helped. Then I gave Youtube a shot and came here! It worked! My Wifi router' channel was set to 'Auto Channel', I changed it to Ch11 and now my Home network is showing on my phone. You are a Genius, my friend! Thank you very very very much :)

If you have Authentication issue, try all channels. I tried 5 below 11 until i landed on channel 6 which worked for me. Good luck.

If I may, I feel like the new outro is a bit forced/flat.  I kinda preferred the previous tone, but this extra info is important to have!

Toggling airplane mode seems to fix it on 5.1.1! it is annoying since it won't work on first install before that (I formatted my device and my wifi stopped working, I have auto channel select on router and googled this issue)

I use my college wifi on my moto g2.But since i upgraded to lollipop I am not able to surf internet not I am able to share stuff using wifi related applications.. please provide me a solution..It would be great help.Thankd

I use motorola G 2nd Gen,  upgraded to 5.0.2 still having " ! " mark on wifi after changing channel to 7 then 11 ( INDIA) Internet works fine on wifi. But this mark irritates. Any solutions or fix from anybody Plz help..
