Satellite images show smoke of U.S. western wildfires from space | WION

Wildfires raging across the western United States and Canada, including a two-week-old blaze in Oregon, continued to belch smoke. The smoke has spread eastward causing harmful air pollution as far away as New York City.

Lets bring back logging, they work in the woods clean it up, make logging roads that act as fire breaks most of all they are there when a fire breaks out like they used to be can get to the fire when it is easily extinguished. It would also create jobs and help communities rebuild after being devastated by the logging industry. The industry was destroyed to save the spotted owl's habitat now fire destroys the owl's habitat and the owl itself, causes air pollution and destroys the forest so many trees are reduced to ash that could have been used to build homes for so many. The forest is a renewable resource it grows back even after a fire by why not use the wood instead of letting it go to ash and air pollution?
