Sir, Could you please explain why lethargy is seen in hypercalcemia?

Could you explain more the difference between symptoms between hyper and hypo-calcinemia (tingling, contraction...) ? Is it possible to appear only in a specific location of neuromuscular system? Calcium concentration in the blood can be used for an assessment of these conditions?

Excellent, thank you very much!
Just a question, why don't smooth muscles contract?

Thank you sir ❤
But even if there's depolarisation, how does the neurotransmitters get out of the presynaptic cell if there's a decreased calcium level ?

Sir why sustained depolarisation due to hypocalcemia don’t cause down regulation of Na+ channels
Usually if continuous depolarisation is given, it causes Dow regulation of Na+ channels?

in neet 2016 lack of relaxation between successive stimuli leading to sustained muscle contraction. is . option mein both spasm and tetanus given what to do correct is tetanus

I also feel like dystonia, my right side of my body is spasmed (neck is pulled forward, hand are retracted) and it takes about 5-10 seconds to go away, but it is very easy to flare up when I'm stressed, stand up or move suddenly if my blood pressure and blood calcium are low this will happen many times a day . Contrary i have a little system 2-3/ day if your blood pressure and blood calcium is normal . i feel very disapointed to my disease, now how long do tetany last?

@10:15 Sir it also happens to med students when they hold retractors for an hour or two in surgical rotations!😝😝😝
