I love how he says he can make a phone call and get boxes of gum delivered but can’t call the same guy for a job

"Soon as I'm done with you".

The YouTube algorithm during the quarantine. Sending me an unemployment office skit from the best show of all time.

As a man with a job, this clip is quite humorous to me. But I remember a time, long ago, when I was unemployed, when this club brought tears to my eyes. Tears of sadness, not joy, mind you.

Smoking in your office, a typewriter....yet despite this, it still seems so fresh and relevant.

The amount of old tv plots that would be completely ruined by the internet and by smartphones is staggering ;)
Great scene of course

Wow, I thought the actress was Nancy Marchand who played Tony Soprano's mother Livia in The Sopranos but it's not. The actress in the Seinfeld video is named Rae Allen. Ironically Rae Allen played Livia Soprano's sister, Aunt Quintina Blundetto, in a few episodes of The Sopranos.

The effort by George to make it all look like very normal and casual is awesome

I've been looking and listening for work for years.

I love how George always has to do with characters with funny last names. Mrs Sokol, Mr Thomassuolo, etc...

Such a great episode. It had a bunch of great related stories. The Kennedy assassination reference, though dark, was golden.

Rest in peace, Rae Allen. Unsung actress (but did win a Tony award) of tremendous talent.

R.I.P. Rae Allen (1926-2022)
Nice to have a role on Seinfeld!

This sketch is *UNREALISTIC.* Right now I have 104 rejection letters from jobs that I've applied to. *MOST* of the companies do *NOT* supply *ANY* NAMES that are the "Hiring Managers". And nowadays, it's ALL DONE by email, *NOT* phone numbers. And *WHO* REALISTICALLY will have ANY knowledge of that at a company with OVER 100 Applicants?

As mentioned - this sketch is *UNREALISTIC.*
