What’s the difference between “Will you pass me the salt please” and “Would you pass me the salt please” ? Both of them isn’t it a request ?

Could you please explain why you used "going to" in the sentence: "Maybe you just have a feeling that the weather is going to change" (7:00)?
Following your explanations, you should have used "will", but you didn't. Is there a reason for that?

Nice explanation, Greg! I was wondering if you could also explain the case of Present Simple and "to be to" usage for describing future event. E.g. The train arrives at 8 o'clock. I run 10 miles tomorrow. The Prime Minister is to see the Queen tomorrow.
