To all of people in the future that will be eventually living on mars i just wanted to say that yall lucky to be there because in my time we can only be able to see the red planet with the help of our mars rover called "perseverance"

What if Mars was once like earth but due to an intelligent species producing to much CO2 that caused natural disasters that inevitably lead to extinction of all life on earth. Might be a stretch but maybe possible? Might explain why most of the atmosphere is carbon dioxide

Edit: it is actually a theory that Mars was once like earth, and that would explain also the water they found. Signs point to the fact it was most likely habitable.
