Common sense. No trucks side by side thru tunnel. Be the bigger person, back off. Be defensive not offensive.

I don't think I've ever tried to pass another vehicle while in a tunnel or on a bridge. I try not to pass people in construction area but with these ten or twenty mile construction zones you have to pick a safe spot to pass slow vehicles.

Trucks should stop trying to pass in an unsafe place. Tunnels, bridges, and construction zones are unsafe areas to pass.

I don't like having people up beside me. I'd rather maintain my dominance or deliberately slow down to let them go past. I just don't trust them to be up beside and not forget about me. Too many people are not as good as they think they are. You can see that this guy passing stayed awake long enough to see clear his forward view, but then his brain took a break. Hey, sleep happens.

Always reduce speed in tunnels and STAY in YOUR LANE, it's only 5 minutes or 5 seconds.

It's a Christmas miracle everyone's okay I salute the gentleman that got cut off for not throwing them under the bus rating them out even though that was a danger to society move at least we had a laugh in The end when the driver that made a mistake hid behind him for 30 miles knowing he up showing guilt like that means I think that man learned a valuable life lesson♥️🙏

I had a CR ENGLAND hit my mirror. Lucky these mirrors Fold back or forward. No damage, he pull next me to see if u wanted to pull over and check damage.
I told him I'm good, keep rolling, keep rolling. No problem.

Two things wrong: 1) this guy trying to pass in a tunnel, 2) the guy being passed didn't stagger his lane. As soon as I saw idiot in left lane start to pass, I would've slowed down enough to create a safe staggered formation, so when chit like this happens, no sweat...

Truck shouldn’t even have been in the left lane especially since it has a truck restriction for that same reason.

I remember as a new driver and as a trainer that new drivers kind of have trouble knowing when the right side of the truck is over the line, this driver strikes me as being tricked by the illusion of the wall it makes you feel that you're much closer to being out of your lane on that side. I don't think the driver was just distracted, because if so the horn would have made him go over. Instead he held

I emailed you my dash video Alex. This happened to me but this guy did it deliberately. The company was Gold Country. Called the dispatch, dispatcher didn't care, called GA state trooper and dispatcher for GA really didn't care because he didn't cause me to "crash". I told her, why would you want to wait for a semi to cause an accident! This individual was literally using his semi as a weapon! I was in GA. heading southbound on I75 mile marker 35, he was in the far left lane, he had already been in the far left lane for 20 miles prior to this guy deciding to do what he did. This individual need's to get his CDL revoked permanently!

I run i76 a lot and there are 3 tunnels west of Harrisburg PA, and that stretch is a right lane only for trucks. I won't lie, I usually pass other truck through there because I know the road turn for turn, and some guys really dog it through there (it's posted 45mph), but I also don't get scared of the wall and won't drift into the other lane. So really these laws are for the steering wheel holders that you already expect to fail.

It’s amazing how many times a week that actually happens. Having it happen in a tunnel is even worse because you don’t have an exit lane. Instead of speeding up though I think I would’ve slow down and let him go. Merry Christmas and be safe everyone
