CROSSWIND LANDINGS during SUNNY Weather at Düsseldorf - BOEING 787 Comeback, Airbus A350 ... (4K)

The first All Nippon Airways Boeing 787 flight to Düsseldorf after a 6 - months brake got welcomed by light crosswinds from the south-east. ANA decided to operate a weekly flight to Tokyo during the christmas holidays. I missed the B787 Dreamliner at DUS and I was quite happy to see the bending wings on approach again.

A few minutes later a Vietnam Airbus A350 and a Boeing 777 of Emirates also arrived on runway 23L which was a pretty unusualy sight these days. Three heavies within one hour has becone a rare sight at DUS.

So, crosswind landings in SUNNY weather is strange? I don't think so. It's the wind that matters, not the sun.
