FOR SALAD DRESSING:
MAYONAISSE. 1 CUP
NESTLE YOGURT. 1 CUP
WHITE PEPPER. 1/2 TSP
BLACK PEPPER. 1 TSP
SALT. 1 TSP
POWDERED SUGAR. 1 TBSP
Just whisk together all the ingredients until creamy and smooth.
FOR SALAD:
CABBAGE. 4-5 LEAVES ABOUT 2-3 CUPS CHOPPED
CUCUMBER. 1 MEDIUM
CARROT. 1 LARGE/2 SMALL
WHITE CHICKPEAS. 1 CUP
RED KIDNEY BEANS. 1/2 CUP(OPTIONAL)
SWEET CORN. 1 CUP
PEAS. 1/2 CUP
BANANA 1 LARGE/2 SMALL
APPLE. 1 LARGE
PINEAPPLE. 1 CUP/6-7 SLICES
ELBOW MACARONI. 1/2 CUP RAW
WALNUTS. ABOUT 7 WHOLE,SHELLED
CASHEW NUTS (SALTED) ABOUT 25
ALMONDS. ABOUT 20
PISTACHIOS. ABOUT 25
RAISINS. 1/4 CUP
- Boil macaroni as per packet instructions.
- Steam the peas and chickpeas if using frozen.
- Cut banana and apple very finely and add few drops of lemon juice to prevent from oxidation.
- Chop cucumber,carrot,cabbage as fine as you can...the finer,the better....
- Add the sweetcorn,peas,chickpeas,beans and chopped fruits and vegetables.
- Wash the raisins well along with nuts except cashew nuts.
Add to the salad and the rest of the ingredients.
Add salad Dressing and mix well.
