The US is depending on countries like Vietnam for shoes and textiles because the local industry doesn't exist anymore in the US. If Trump puts tariffs on these products the US customer must pay for it.

Luckily Singapore has nothing to export to America and won't be affected by tariffs

The potential impact of tariffs highlights just how interconnected and fragile global economies can be. 🌍 For Singapore, this is a timely reminder of the importance of building resilience by supporting local small businesses. 🇸🇬 Did you know that small and medium enterprises (SMEs) make up 99% of all businesses in Singapore and contribute nearly half of our GDP? 💼 Every dollar spent on a homegrown brand strengthens our economy, creates jobs, and reduces dependence on external shocks. Let’s come together and back our local businesses—it’s a powerful way to safeguard our future. Who else believes in investing in a resilient Singapore? 🙌✨

The non-machine transcribed subtitles should have written "reaped" instead of "gripped" for "gripped the most gains".

I know a few Vietnamese who literally prayed for Trump to win presidency. Wonder what they’re thinking now 😂
