The Book of Mark is an ancient biography. As it is the earliest Gospel, it is probably the most accurate, lending credence to criticisms of the Books of Matthew and Luke's nativity narrative. Christians of Mark's time expected Jesus to return as Messiah in their own lifetime, and when that did not occur, the later development of a deferred "second coming." Mark's Christ dies with the cry, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" Whereas the author of Luke decided, "Father, into your hands, I commend my spirit, " was a more suitable ending. The point is all four Gospels are ancient biographies written to an audience of early Christians to convince them of the validity of their faith.

I did n't think it was very informative, but things, I liked about the book of Mark, it was the first Gospel written, it should have been called the book of Peter since these things were witness by Peter who shared the information with a dear fellow Disciple who's Christian name was Mark, and Mark, or Greek name Payachis, I think that is how you spell it, decided to write it all down one day, that is why this Gospel centers around Peter so much, and each one of the Gospels represents each one of the Seraphem that stands before the throne of God saying Holy, Holy, Holy, the one that has the appearance of a Bull is for the Gospel of Mark, the hard working Jesus going about his Fathers business.
