I loved the tips shared in this video! Laying laminate flooring can be tricky, but your advice about laying the boards towards the light source is spot on. I remember my first time trying to install a floor; I laid the boards the wrong way and ended up with visible seams everywhere.

Also, cutting around radiator pipes can be a headache, but your method with the spade bit and angle cuts makes it look manageable. Just a heads-up: when estimating costs, always factor in extra for unexpected cuts and tools you might need. You never know when you’ll find a rogue pipe! Thanks for the great guidance—can’t wait to try this out!

4:38 B&Q should advise that the H-block stagger pattern used here is not typical for aesthetic reasons. Other, less uniform stagger patterns exist and may be preferred.
