Annihilation Alien Sound Live Cover Prophet 12

I watched Annihilation yesterday and was blown away.
My friend Alex Pfeffer did a video with his version of the Alien sound and now I understand why - you are just pulled in to the SHIMMER!!
I hope you like this little live cover!

I use the Strymon Timeline Delay as a looper as well as a reversed delay.
The Big Sky is using a Swell patch as well.
The lead sound is The DSI Prophet 12. I fucking love this synth!
The bassline is The DSI REV2 and the drone in the beginning is the
DSI Pro 2.

Wow! This is insane! I haven’t found anything does what the Prophet 12 can do in terms of crazy textural feedback loop madness. It is certainly a synth that is a total sum of its parts. I don’t really like the sound of the VCOs, or the filter for that matter. But you add up everything it can do and the thing is alive and ready to mindf%#! Your soul!

This is the best synth score cover I’ve heard! Any tips on creating that bass? I use my Rev2 every day but haven’t crafted anything quite that cool. Great job!!

excellent cover! it is my understanding that the original sounds (especially that part) were mostly from a waterphone (which I was blown away by - I thought most of it sounded very DSI and Waldorf).
