My wife had a c section on our first kid- they handed me my son and took me to a room- where I spent 45 minutes ALONE with this delicate little baby. I was so scared I was going to do something wrong- but we bonded in those moments and I fell more in love with a human being than I had ever been before- and only 2 times since- it was the scariest/most awesome thing I have ever experienced.


When they rolled my wife in on the gurney she said his name and he cranked his body around knowing her voice already.
