He is completely wrong, Rockefeller is the first one who realized gasoline could be used as fuel. It was a byproduct of oil refining that they used to throw away until he and standard oil found a use for it

I always thought of him as an oil magnet which is exactly what he was. When I think of oil I don't think of gasoline. Oil is used to make very many products and used in much more ways than lighting r gasoline. That's why it's the most important natural resource.
