This is quite good. I would reccomend adding the signature "x" markings on the cysts, making the tentacles move slower, and making gravity based on the number of attached tentacles.

I feel as though there are some discrepancies between this animation and in-game DLL movement. In Rain World, limb movement comes first. Then, body movement. In this simulacrum, it is as though the decision on where to move is made first. Then, the limb moves. Followed by the body.

Beautiful stuff, and deeply unsettling to watch. Its been mentioned elsewhere in the comments but Id say the next step is to give the core that deadweight, sagginess rather than floating along so independently.

Unrealistic, the daddy long legs likes to move slow as hell or just camp in one spot and make your life so much harder as you beg them to move so that you don’t run out of time before the rain comes, and then they just don’t

This is amazing! Really, all it needs is a couple longer tentacles, and to sweep around the blocks before it pulls itself up like they do in-game, and this would be perfect! Keep doing great work!

The first time I got to the Wetlands Aspect in Risk of Rain 2, I looked at those gigantic columns that stretch up into the fog high up in the sky, and I was reminded of the Chimney Canopy from Rain World.

Ever since then, I’ve wondered about how amazing a 3D Rain World would be.

The idea of a 3D rain world FPS where survivor gets the joke gun and goes on a rampage has entered my mind and it is KILLING me.
