Hey adizz I have a suggestion, you should recolour all of the white unclaimed area to grey for ‘unexplored territory’ and when it has been explored it can then be coloured white

I got some names and ideas:
The Red Nation - Before they moved to Mesopotamia and were still in Oman, they were the Zhlota Sultanate, while now that they moved to Mesopotamia, they are the Neto Sultanate(after the Tigris river, but in this world they call the Tigris the Neto River instead)

The Yellow Nation - The State of Solaris(BTW, I got an idea that they invent religion, and make a god named Solar their god, he is the god of everything)

The Purple Nation - The State of Tyria (Idea: They sail to Greece and so The State of Solaris and this State of Tyria split up Greece in an actual formal truce)

The Green Nation - The Empire of Verdan(Idea: They sign a truce with the State of Solaris to try to avoid conflict over the Caucasus)

The Blue Nation - The Sanguine Empire(Idea: Maybe they go into a short Cold-War style tension conflict where they don't go to war, but tension is really, REALLY high over Africa)

Also, Cyprus is discovered by the State of Tyria. One of the ships supposed to go the Greece to take it goes off course and lands on Cyprus, and the Tyrians quickly occupy Cyprus for some reason, they just have a policy of "MUST EXPAND TO BALANCE THE WORLD", because the Tigris Sultanate is getting waaay too powerful. Other nations begin taking this policy of "MUST EXPAND TO BALANCE THE WORLD" as well.

I would recommend using a phisycal map where we could see the elevations, fails and rivers on the terrain, this could improve the immersion in this new story and make the developement and expansion of the new civilizations more realistic.

Suggestions:
*You should add a event in one of the nations which trigger bad crops in the country, resulting in alot of cival unrest and possibly famine.
*Natural dissasters(Earth quakes, flooding, taunamis possibly etc)
