Dr. Linkov you are the best! I have been taking oral Minoxdil for almost a year for hair growth. I am a 79 years old woman that lost her hair due to Covid and the vaccine. I have had PRP treatments 9 times which worked great but only lasted for one year. i started using 5% topical minoxidil in january to fill in and lower my hairline, and the results are amazing. i wasn’t losing my hair, but my forehead is kinda big and i was considering a forehead reduction in the future, so the minoxidil is an attempt to shrink my forehead a tiny bit. my baby hairs are growing into adult hairs, and i can put my hair up without feeling insecure. the fine vellus hairs near my hairline are growing significantly as well. my forehead appears to have reduced by at least 1.5 cm. i’ve always had a small patch of low hair density right at the middle of my hairline, and that has filled in completely. i wouldn’t have tried this if i hadn’t heard Dr. Linkov talk about minoxidil in his videos.

A great video at the perfect time. I am a physician, trying to prevent my own hair loss. I have moved from topical to oral minoxidil for better efficacy. On 2.5 mg/day, I did note some heart palpitations. Changing to 1.25 mg twice a day has essentially eliminated them. The pills cut easily with a pill cutter.

Thank you for making medications more accessible. I have alopecia areata, and live in Canada, and for me personally, I'm okay being bald, but I know other people struggle and it can be so hard to see a dermatologist where I live. I think it's great my American alopecian brethren have more options now :)

I have a thinning hairline at my bangs and a widow's peak area. I always had very thick hair as a younger person. I'm self-conscious of the thinning bangs. I saw good reviews on amygrow herbal hair oil and decide to try it. I've only been using it for just close to a month so I haven’t seen the result I'm hoping for, but in this short time, I'm beginning to see a little more growth in my bangs. I have high hopes for this hair oil and plan to purchase more to continue use. Since I only use it in the bangs, the product is lasting a good while. I've been taking oral minoxidil for 5 months resulting in hair regrowth! :) Light-colored vellus hairs grow more quickly on my face but it's not a big deal. I either shave with a regular razor or use a dermaplane razor. I quit topical, it wasn't working for me and it's super toxic for cats.

I am going to be getting on oral Finasteride (+) oral Minoxidil in a couple weeks! I am very excited to get rid of my thin/wispy hair in the front, and fill in the temples. I think I am catching my hair loss pretty early; my hair loss is not horrible right now at age 21, but it definitely is bothering me. I hope this will fix it for many many years to come. I'm on oral minoxidil 0.25 mg for almost 3 months and I'm using topical form once a day, I start to see results, my hair is stronger and thicker, my beard is also thicker and darker than ever. I hope to see better results with time but even know I'm really happy to see my hair getting stronger.

I used the topical 2% on my beard. I can confidently say it works. And I will also say the results are permanent, so long as you use it long enough for the hairs on your face to turn terminal. I was able to grow a decent mustache and goatee, but my sides were very bare. However, after 9 months of continued use, my sides are now completely filled in. Its been 3 years, and all the hairs have stayed. The hairs do not grow as long the ones on my chin, 8 in at my chin and 4in at my sides, but I am considering using it again, to test if further use will cause the hairs to furthur mature and naturally grow longer after using it again.
I commonly recommend its use to all my friend's and family members that grow patchy beards. I do of course recommend them to research its side effects because of it blood thinning property.
