It’s worth mentioning that the Stimberries are far more useful on their own than most people give them credit for. One of the most annoying dinos to come across earlier in the game are Troodons, they typically roam in small groups and apply torpidity on attack. Having a healthy supply of Stimberries in your hotbar is one of the only counters to these early-game menaces as they can typically knock you out after 2-3 hits and only a few seconds. Eating large amounts of the berries will dehydrate you, so be sure to keep a water skin on you or avoid taking fights far from water sources. Titanaboas are also commonly found near East spawns 2 and 3 and have and even faster knock out effect than the Troodons.

Nice video, helped me to speed up my start, since it's been some time 😂 quick tip to get fiber quicker: pick the seaweed in the river. So much faster than bushes!

Also beginners need to know, pickaxe harvests more meat from dinos, more thatch from wood more metal from stones, hatchet harvests more hide from dinos, more wood from trees and typically more stone or flint from rocks, hope this helps y'all in some way or another and have a great time playing this new and improved ark over the original, I've got about 12hrs in to this newer version and I'm really loving it, I played original ark for years and this new and improved version really picks up and improves on all things that were lacking slightly and/or missing from the original game, can't wait for ark 2 to release 😁😁😁

Also noticed when in free creation mode, do not get too high in the air, you will exit the biome and lose everything you had on you. There is no ceiling anymore. You will have to respawn back in your bed without anything you had earlier.

With carnivore babies you have to hit em a few times, i use the club because of the low damage it has, usually 2-3 hits will let u imprint baby carns
