Are Mac Tools worth the price?

We had a Mac tool representative tell us we could try to break this, but we couldn't.

All tools are breakable, just not when they're attached to a loose table that takes away all the torque

There's always that one guy in a shop that can f**k up an anvil with a rubber mallet. This isn't him.

Harbor Freight Tools will not even break with that table like that

Top tip: if you need to get a lot of torque into a bench vice that isn’t bolted to the floor, turn the piece 90° and push the bar/wrench towards the bench top. The bench won’t move.

The pipe test is my go to. If I can't break the bolt or tool get more leverage... Grab for a bigger socket drive too if possible, helps with this.

Flip that table on its side and stand on it. That's normally how that tool is used.

Use 4-6 foot pipe on it!!! I keep one in my breaker bars in my trunk & it is sitting inside the pipe! I welded a T-handle on the far end!!! Snapped my snap-on breaker bar with that same pipe!!!

I just love how the Mac guys become a part of the shop. Started working at a tire/mechanic shop recently, and all the mechanics talk to the mac guy like an old friend 😂

Mac is the best to me...I've got a set of wrench's that was my grandfather's....long story short one finally broke they gave me a brand new set with a letter say thank you for still using are tools...

When I was in the military we broke so many of these name brands (mainly snap on) and the tool truck doesn't come overseas so good luck with that warranty.

Been a Diesel mechanic for 22 years. When I first started. We had Mac and Snap on that’s it. I went to Mac because it was a little more cheaper then snap on. I ordered a AC gauge. Kept getting the runaround after 3 week. Finally the Mac guy said he could not afford to get his inventory out. We kicked him to the curb.

My Mac dealer is the chillest guy ever. "Hey brother i broke this" "cya next week". Different story with my Matco dealer. And we don't get snapon because the guy is a complete child.
