Around 73 or 4 I had a roommate from Boston who dragged me out to Tulagis in Boulder on a cold drizzly night when I wanted to go to bed early because I had to see this singer named Bonny Raitt. Thank you Patrick wherever you are today.

john was a very handsome man ....after cancer treatments and surgery plus steroid medication unfortunately things changed but he kept on touring and doing his thing...John had great stamina and endurance...a very very special songwriter and finger/picker...no-one knows what is waiting for us around the corner...no-one...thankyou John for being the kind soul that you were...you had a very innoncent ego...your feet never left the ground....dark cloud poet singer/songwriter...canada

One of my all time favorite songs. The best version also in my worthless opinion.

I was at a Bonnie Raitt concert many years ago and she called John out on stage, this may be that moment! Beautiful..

Grew up listening to John Prine, Jesse Winchester, John Stewart and Jerry Jeff Walker--just another example of the best music in the last 50 years! Bless harmonies--given me some of the most poignant memories of my life

Angel from Montgomery always been all time favorite. 2nd place version by Susan Tedeschi. 1st place always & forever, version by Bonnie Raitt & John Prine himself!! Mr Prine could make his guitar sing! He made blues music that you would laugh, cry & sometimes both at same time! Big heartfelt thank you John Prine! Playing "When I Get to Heaven" . Heaven is rocking with you, StevieRay & all the other greats jamming!! May you Rock On!!!
