This is the passion most of those christian movies lack. Even if the project started as a joke, it grew to actually reanimate an entire movie with many talented and inspired people. The trailer looks promising.

Considering Joshua and the Promise Land was one of my first ever Saber vids, I'm personally very excited and surprisingly emotionally invested in this project. Can't wait to see the final product!

Whoever animated the scene at 0:48 needs an award. It looks like it’s out of a Disney movie. I’m so hyped for this and so proud of these animators! I cannot wait!
Edit: I should’ve clarified that the moment I’m talking about is that water scene, but I also really love the other scenes that are being animated just as much!

I sometimes wonder how Jim Lion feels about the current, bizarre state of fame/infamy of his creation. I'm sure that this wasn't exactly what he had in mind, but whether intended or not, his film has brought so many people together- enough to do an entire reanimation project! I wonder if he'll ever share his story, and his view on Joshua all these years later.

The animation at 0:54 is totally stunning and it genuinely makes me feel so much. This is all so well done but the stylisation of this art style feels like such a strange, raw emotion

I can't wait to see the full thing! Everybody did so well and it was a ton of fun seeing how the production goes, being able to hear feedback from other animators and getting to know them was super cool!
And on top of that I've never been in a project that had such a smoooth organisation, saber did amazing as a host.
I really really hope everyone will enjoy the whole thing, counting the creator of the original movie in lmao

1:03 I love the way they captured his descent into pure illogical blind rage. Realisiation of what they are seeing resulting in shock and denial leading into primal fury. Beautiful!
