I've never been happier in my life than in Kauai. I've never had the desire to live anywhere else more in the world. I'd planned on moving their from Oregon in 2022. I was 30, had never dated ANYONE and am not social whatsoever. I was Planning on working for a farm in exchange for board, or be a truck driver, Ranger, beach comber, any kind of hard outdoor labor and pretty much anything that wasn't direct customer service. Somehow, for some reason, in some way I met my (soon to be) wife and she has family anchoring her here in Oregon. I believe it was some kind of divine intervention. I'd met her months before I was leaving for Kauai and told her "sorry I'm leaving in three months". Looking back it was so stupid to try my first time dating on an app when I wasn't planning on sticking around. I'm visiting soon and I'm sure it'll be just as hard to leave as it always is. The universe can't keep me away from Kauai forever!

I've been here almost 35 years. It's not a consumer's paradise though I've always managed to live within my means. You don't drive out of town for the weekend or take road trips. Your friends and family may not come to see you as often as you'd like. I try to avoid the Kapaa traffic and I haven't been to the north. side in about 10 years. I think we may have the best weather in the world. No place is perfect but I like my neighbors and my neighborhood. There's no place else that I'm interested in living. Kauai suits me fine.

All want to move une place..une island, why not make Hawaii here in you Town in cool place? you live..put tropical plants, and improve your town, put a dome..if the wheter is not the same...import product..and make the same...Hawaiian in California, continue be togheter, singin, and use clothig with flowers...Hawaiian in California continue be Hawaiian, loveby and happy..a lot for learn ..from happy....Elisa Finch...
